Independent Claremorris based councillor Richard Finn was elected as the Cathaoirleach of Mayo County Council for the second time at the council’s AGM, which took place on Monday in St Mary’s Hall in GMIT.

Members of the West Mayo Municipal District this morning (Monday, November 9) rejected the proposed discretionary part of the districts General Municipal Allocation.
